The current membership fee is 60,-€ per year. If you join much later in the second half of the year, your fee will be reduced.

Anyone who has access to ESTEC can join our club! This can be a staff member, contractor, YGT, Intern/Stagier, family member with a green family badge or any other function that grants you access to the ESTEC campus with a permanent badge.

No. Our club consists of a good mix of experienced riders and beginners. You do not have to have any experience to join our club. In fact, we are here to help to get you started if you wish (i.e. find a stable that suits you).

However, we would like to lower your expectations when it comes to what you can do as a beginner. We all know that riding at the beach is a dream. Currently, we can’t offer this to people without riding experience. All the stables around us do require at least 5 years of recent experience and proper riding gear in order to go on the beach. If this is the only reason why you would like to join the club, then we would recommend to contact us first. We can definitely point you in the right direction where to find a place but it might be a bit further away and we are currently not organising trips with those places.

We have an extensive list and map that we try to keep updated with stables nearby. We also list their specialties and members that go there to form a better connection. You will have access to this list and other resources (for example, how do I navigate a Dutch lesson) if you join the club.

As mentioned before, you are absolutely welcome to the club with little or no experience at all. But riding outside, no matter how calm the horse is, is a different story.
